Belgian-born Maxime Deloyer is a rising star in the racket sport of Padel. Starting his sporting career as a competitive tennis player, Maxime got his first taste of success at the age of ten after reaching the final of the acclaimed Borman Cup, Belgium’s national junior tennis championship. Leaving his mark on Belgium’s tennis federation, he moved his focus to Padel – a sport that has since become his passion and has seen him achieve great success.

In 2021, Maxime finished in third place in the Belgian Padel Championship, securing his title as number one in the junior category. His success continued throughout the year, culminating in representing Belgium at the World Junior Championships in Mexico, where he finished in the top ten. In 2022, Maxime and his partner made sporting history by becoming the first Belgian Padel duo to reach the final of the prestigious International Padel Federation (FIP) Star tournament, which took place in Doha, Qatar.

Some 30 tournaments are already lined up for Maxime in 2023, at venues across Europe and beyond. As he continues to train and compete at the highest levels of Padel, Maxime has set himself competitive targets of breaking into the world’s top 100 ranked players and becoming champion of Belgium. To achieve these goals, he is committed to training up to five times a week, with additional sessions with his physio and psychological coach planned around his busy tournament schedule.
