Shining the light on… Texaco Delo 600 ADF
In this series of features, we take a closer look at some of the products within the Texaco range. With insights into products across a variety of brands, this time we’ll look at Delo 600 ADF, a premium performance synthetic technology long drain engine oil that has a range of benefits to the end user, and is available in two viscosities – 15W-40 and 10W-30.
Designed to deliver robust and reliable protection to both the engine and emissions system across mixed fleets, Delo 600 ADF gets ahead of the game, offering extended diesel particulate filter (DPF) service intervals and helping to improve fuel economy through reducing DPF regeneration and ash build-up. On top of this, it helps to meet the latest standards, including Euro VI and off-highway EU Stage V.
What does this mean for you?

Its ashless dispersants reduce the threat of oil filter clogging, harmful sludge, abrasive polishing and valve train wear, and viscosity increase.
On which vehicles should I use it?
With a purpose of optimising productivity, Delo 600 ADF SAE 15W-40 is specially formulated for long oil drain protection in both on- and off-highway diesel engines. Not only this, but its design offers robust engine wear and corrosion resistance with reliable DPF protection, which are both valuable tools in the battle to reduce downtime.
Specifically formulated for on-highway applications and low emission diesel engines with selective catalytic reduction (SCR), diesel particulate filters (DPF), and exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) systems, the engine oil is fully compatible with previous engine models and previous API Oil Service Categories.

To put it simply, yes. The product and all of its benefits are supported by a series of approvals from key manufacturers, including: MAN M3775, Mercedes-Benz MB-Approval 228.31, and Volvo VDS-4.5.
