Texaco Proudly Supports the 2026 Transport & Logistics Awards
For the 12th consecutive year, Texaco proudly sponsored the prestigious Transport & Logistics Awards, held on the 2nd of April at the Nekkerhal in Mechelen. Organised by Transport Media, the event recognises excellence across the industry. Once again, Texaco had the honour of supporting the highly sought-after ‘Transporter of the Year’ award, which this year was presented to Transport Jacobs.
For over two decades, the Transport & Logistics Awards have been a key date on the industry calendar, celebrating top performers across multiple categories. The 2026 awards featured winners in eight different categories, including Transporter of the Year, Truck Fleet-Owner of the Year, T&L Employer of the Year, Green Truck Award, Truck Safety Award, Digital Truck Award, Logistics Building of the Year, and Logistics Project of the Year.
Transporter of the Year
Eddy Devriese, Manager OEM Europe at Texaco, had the privilege of presenting the ‘Transporter of the Year’ award to Transport Jacobs. The family-owned company from Genk handles everything with its own drivers, invests heavily in digital innovation, and recently opened a brand-new branch.
