What experience do you have in the lubricants sector?

 

I have worked for several oil companies over the past 35 years, in a number of different positions, but have always been focussed on sales.

 

What do you believe Texaco has to offer customers?

 

Aside from our excellent product ranges, I think we’re well known for our reliability and innovation. An important value we pride ourselves on, is the close relationships that we establish with our customers. We take the time to understand and personalise the solutions that we provide to meet their requirements.

 

What do you think is the biggest challenge facing the industry at the moment?

 

One of the biggest challenges for customers I believe is in choosing companies with reliable delivery capability. We would encourage businesses to plan well in advance – that helps everyone make sure expectations are met.

 

What is your focus area over the next 12 months?

 

For me, it is all about sharing knowledge and working closely with customers to get the best value and cost of ownership to help support their business.

 

What skill do you think more people should learn?

 

Thinking outside the box and being creative can bring about some exciting and innovative answers to almost any problem. I would like to see more openness to try out new and creative solutions.
