Marfak XD 2 M3
Proven performance calcium grease
Marfak XD 2 M3 is a proven performance water stabilized calcium grease, recommended for use on fifth wheels and open gears of construction machinery, ball mill gears, and large enclosed spur gears where oil leakage is a problem.
Applications

- Also successfully used to lubricate:
- Forklifts (rails and wheel-drive gears)
- Slipper drives (steel mills)
- (back-up legs) Dredging (cutting heads)
- Travelling water screens
- Wire ropes and general-purpose grease points of deck equipment
- Marfak XD 2 M3 can also be used at higher temperatures then 60°C, in special cases where the carrier grease is thermally decomposed leaving the solid mineral additives to afford lubrication. About 22% graphite and 3% MoS2 are left over.
- For use as wire rope grease, the use of a wire rope lubrication system is recommended. This system lubricates the wire rope inside and outside. Water, rust, dirt and old lubricant is removed during the process.
