Texaco Lubricants Brand Ambassadors 2023 Round-Up Texaco Lubricants Brand Ambassadors 2023 Round-Up

We would like to congratulate all our Texaco brand ambassadors for their phenomenal performances in 2023. Here are just some of their many achievements.

Professional Triathlete, Kristian Blummenfelt competed all over the world at several prestigious events throughout the year. One of his best results was achieved in Hamburg, in July, at the 2023 World Triathlon Sprint & Relay Championships, where he finished in fourth place. In June, he was placed fifth at the 2023 World Triathlon Championship Series in Montreal, and in May he crossed the finishing line in eighth place at the 2023 World Triathlon Championship Series in Yokohama. Kristian’s strong results this year has seen him ranked 10th in the World Triathlon Rankings.

Motorsport team, Team BRIT, also had a memorable year after achieving some outstanding results. In their final race of 2023, team driver, James Whitley, caught the attention of the judges, earning himself the ‘Driver of the Day’ award. In addition, a combination of precision driving, faultless pit stops, and an excellent tyre strategy from the whole squad secured a phenomenal second-in-class podium and a fourth-in-class finish for both Team BRIT McLarens. Other events throughout the year included the thrilling McLaren Trophy, the British GT Championship, and the Britcar Trophy.

Seasoned endurance racing driver, Oliver Webb, contended with a packed calendar of events across 2023. After battling it out in the GT3 class of the British GT Championship, Oliver proved his exceptional driving ability on the track behind the wheel of racing team, Greystone GT’s McLaren 720S GT3 Evo. Showcasing his truly global reach, the veteran driver capped off an exciting year by competing in this year’s Indian Racing League as part of the Bangalore Speedsters racing team.

Padel player Maxime Deloyer enjoyed yet another prosperous year as Belgium’s number one in the sport. Maxime’s highest results were secured at the Belgian Padel Tour in February and March, and at the International Padel Federation’s FIP Rise Mol in August, at which he took home three first-place finishes. More recently, in September, Maxime was able to fulfil his lifetime dream of participating in the world-famous Roland Garros competition. As he looks forward to what 2024 has in store, Maxime hopes to continue his streak of success in what is looking like another busy year of tournaments.

2023 has also been a fantastic year for our local ambassadors, Antoanela Mănac, Robert Hajnal, George Christoforou (also known as Ela Koko), Ognjen Stojanović, Sharon van Rouwendaal, Teodor Tsvetkov, Joonas Lember and the members of the Prista Triathlon Teams including Jan Volár, Filip Václavík & Michaela Štěrbová.
